The sad part is there is a Walgreens less than 5 minutes from my home I wanted to patronize but I am now driving 15-20 minutes to a CVS to get US made generics to avoid getting so sick again. Remember we can always go to CVS, WALMART PHARMACY, OSCO DRUG, ETC! When I get back to the window I ask him for his name so I can report him and he actually had the audacity to say to me “Im not telling you”!!
I feel Walgreens should really reconsider their policy of buying the cheapest foreign drugs no matter how many of its patients they may cause harm to if they want to prevent losing customers such as me. I don’t appreciate it that what I needed wasn’t ready. Then he slams the phone down on me yet again and has someone else come help me.
The management only pays attention to what they want. How they are running things down here are completely wrong. Reply I find it unconscionable that Walgreens purchases generic prescription meds from Indian manufacturers they know make many people very sick and/or don’t work.
They should at least have other US made generics to choose if you have reactions even if a bit higher cost but they do not which caused me to move my prescriptions to CVS. (Thinking to myself how this makes no sense) So I then say to him, “I just need to get my medicine, what do I need to do”?
I found out at the healthcare system I work for its pharmacy of choice they partner with is CVS obviously due to this type of attitude that Walgreens has and their lack of regard for their customers’ health and safety. TRAIN YOUR MANAGEMENT AND PHARMACY STAFF TO BE MORE CARING AND RESPECTFUL. He told me to either come in or drive around and get back in line, so I do.
Im reporting both of them to the corporate office and I will be taking all of my prescriptions and shopping needs elsewhere and let EVERYONE know the way they treat people and what I have had to go through NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE by different employees!!
Reply I live in Lafayette Louisiana and is an LPN for a local physician office.
We have one that stays walking around half the time talking to people. This is also the same one that walks around talking half the time and wants people sending her texts at work. Another person in my training class was on a call with a customer when a supervisor came up to him and started fussing at him, while he was on the phone.
